Mary    MARY LOU BELLI is an Emmy Award winning producer, writer, and director. She has just finished directing "The Game," the spinoff to "Girlfriends" on the CW which she directed for 7 consecutive seeasons.  She directed the pilot of the Web series 3Way, winner of 2 logo awards and The AfterEllen.com 2008 Visibility Awards for Best Lesbian/bi Web Series, which is about to start its second season.  With over 100 episodes to her credit, Mary Lou directed "Living with Fran" starring Fran Drescher, "Misconceptions" starring Jane Leeves, and "Eve" starring hip hop artist Eve, as well as  “The Hughleys,” “Charles in Charge," "Major Dad," and “Sister, Sister.” Mary Lou received BET nominations for directing "Girlfriends" and "One on One” as well as a Prism Award for "Girlfriends." After receiving a BA in theatre from Penn State, Mary Lou acted in musical theatre and soaps in New York, followed by a Los Angeles career producing and directing theatre with over 75 play productions to her credit. Among the awards she holds the dearest is her citation from the late Mayor Tom Bradley for her work with abused children.  She lectures frequently throughout the United States including many universities such as AFI, NYU, Northwestern, and UConn.  She is the co-author of two books: “The Sitcom Career Book.” and "Acting for Young Actors" and is the head of the Education Advisory Committee for 3 Minute Highschool.com. She has been served as judge and/or guest speaker for four consecutive years for the CSU Media Arts Fest, a judge for the Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageant, a lecturer at the Chautauqua Institute, and a panelist for Women In Film, the DGA, SAG, and AFTRA. This spring she was a judge for the California Independent Film Festival as well as guest artist at the International Thespian Festival for secondary school theatre where she gave workshops to thousands of teens and high school theatre teachers. She just returned from a trip to Japan to judge the Sapporo Short Festival.


 

    Phil Single camera and multi-camera directing credits for PHIL RAMUNO include almost one hundred episodes of many sitcoms, as well as “Into The Night Starring Rick Dees” (ABC late night), “America’s Funniest People,” and six years of documentary, news, and public affairs for Group W in Boston.

     Phil's introduction to sitcom was as an assistant director on the legendary “Soap.”  He later directed multiple episodes of such sitcoms as “Gimme a Break,”  “Charles in Charge.” “The Ted Night Show,” “9 to 5,” and “Grace Under Fire.”  Phil helmed eight pilots for ABC, CBS, FOX, Nickelodeon, TLC, Universal Studios, Columbia, Orion, and Disney.

     For the stage, Phil directed several award-winning plays in Los Angles. He has co-run workshops for handicapped actors in Southern California and won an award from the State of California for a sitcom episode on “Throb” for the best direction of a handicapped actor.  He has taught various subtleties of television production and acting for sitcoms at his alma mater Emerson College, Emerson College Los Angeles Campus, Endicott College, the Lake Arrowhead Workshops, and the Directors Guild Workshop.  Phil is currently teaching at USC Film Graduate School.

     In the last year, Phil has supervised several projects in both Romania and Russia.  In Moscow, he started the top rated Russian versions of both "Married With Children" and "Bewitched."  In Bucharest, it was the original comedy series "House Arrest," "Antecamera," and the cop/action/comedy "Vine Policia!"  

     He and his wife, Jackie Zebal Ramuno, live in Los Angeles with their children Jeff and Jessica.
